Meat on the Menu Could Have Saved This Former Plant-Based Restaurant

Margo's, known for its Westside pizzas, pastas, and burgers, now has some non-vegan options noted on its new menu.

Margo's owner Mark Verge says he added meat to the menu to make the restaurant more welcoming.

The team made the menu modifications official on August 14 after months of consideration.

Margo's first week with meat was one of the restaurant's most profitable, except for Sunday's hurricane closure.

Margo's serves brunch and dinner with vegan and non-vegan options.

After three years of offering plant-based food, Burgerlords returned to meat this year.

The transition began in Chinatown in January and moved to Highland Park last month.
